Fascinating!! I’m convinced now behond doubt Laffy will become Pam’s child. It is right, it is good.
I am impressed, and jealous, that you put this together! I could never do it.
I totally agree that Laffy will become Pam’s child. I just wonder when.
Well, he did ask to be turned and Eric told Pam to make a child if anything happened to him.
He also seems to be turning into some kind of Seer judging by the visions he’s starting to have.
It’s not that I’m not convinced I’m just wondering about the circumstances.
Originally I was hoping that Eric would turn Laffy as a favor to Sookie, making him ‘their’ child in the same sense that Jessica is hers and Bill’s since they both had a hand in creating her.
That’s still how I see it going down since Laffy and Pam’s first interaction could easily be characterized as two siblings squabbling and in their recent interaction Laffy has been bullied to the point of being terrorized. That can’t be a good way to start a maker-child relationship, and II really don’t see Pam having a lot to teach Laffy, not like Eric does at least.
Pam could get a taste of motherhood by playing surrogate maker to Jess, which she has already started doing, and then make a vampire of her own later in the series.
All that being said, though, I’ve learned never to say never with TB, and s4 could have Pam and Laffy’s relationship evolving into more of a parent child direction.
What has always stuck in my mind from S2, is when Laffy is brought up from the DOD to Eric’s office (just before his release), Pam asks Eric if she can keep him. Eric’s reply was that she had too many pets already. I think she likes Laff, his style , his loyalty to friends and family.
Could be. I’m very interested in seeing how their relationship develops s4. With Pam’s comment that she could sleep in the walk in fridge at Merlotte’s, either she or Eric is going to be there, at least for a night. That would be a great opportunity for her and Laffy to interact on a more personal level.
I’d actually RATHER it was Eric who turns Laffy. He does have a lot to teach him and frankly I’m more than ready for the show to highlight Eric’s 1000 years of accumulated wisdom and knowledge much more than they have so far.
Wow!
Me too…WOW.
Anna, I have to thank you for mentioning light and color. It was writing to you that made me realize that I at least had enough info to make a post on L/P/E’s wardrobe. Once I started playing around with prezi, FOTS vs FOTL and terrible trio stuff came together.
TBH this whole thing was dumb luck. A few weeks ago in my nonTB web wanderings, I ran across the term cyan and had no idea what color that was. I was pretty excited when Prof Wiki showed me it was Eric blue and told me there was something extra special about it.
It must be those turtles again!
I’m still a bit stuck in an intermediate state waiting for another flash of insight to help it all fall into place.
There’s a reason it’s turtle sex and not jack rabbit sex. Patience. It’ll come to you.
Thanks for the encouragement, sometimes it’s writing about the hunch that’s the hard part.
HOLY CRAP! It is like once you see it you can’t unsee it what was I even thinking before?!
Haha! If you’re like me, it was something along the lines of, “Viking…yum!”
LOL @ Rene and yet we can’t dismiss that because of the northern lights? This post in particular has really sent me into higher gear on my yoga stuff (ir *maybe* you will get something by xmas)
