Bus boy at Merlotte’s. When Tommy Mickens learned of his biological brother Sam Merlotte’s existence, he took it badly, even attempting to kill Sam early on. Tommy’s family struggled financially, so he let his father enter him into bloody dogfighting matches, in pit bull form, in order to make money, He eventually worked up the courage to leave his self-serving parents and start a new life with his brother. Tommy’s attitude and temper often get him into trouble, and we’ll have to wait and see if that ultimately gets him killed.

Barry
Bellhop at the vampire-friendly Hotel Carmilla in Dallas, Texas. Barry has telepathic powers similar to those of Sookie Stackhouse, though he desperately hides those powers from the hotel’s guests. Still, it’s understandable why Barry took the job in the first place: His inability to hear vampires’ thoughts undoubtedly affords him some peace and quiet in a cacophonous world. We don’t know what happened to Barry, but we know Lorena was amazed by how good he tasted.

Werepanther
There’s an obvious difference between werewolves and werepanthers: Werewolves turn into wolves, and werepanthers turn into panthers. But there is more to it than that. Unlike werewolves, who can form large packs, werepanthers often socialize only in family groups. In fact, interfamily marriage is not uncommon for this species.
Calvin Norris
Calvin Norris is a methamphetamine dealer in Hotshot, Louisiana, and the head of this werepanther community. Enraged that his daughter Crystal was romantically involved with Jason Stackhouse, Calvin stormed into Merlotte’s Bar & Grill to take her home. What he did not expect was a savage beating from Sam Merlotte, which nearly killed him. Calvin was saved by an emergency dose of vampire blood, but wound up walking away from his daughter and her new friends, disgusted with them all for tainting his bloodline. Calvin was ultimately betrayed and killed by Felton Norris.

Crystal Norris was raised in a tight-knit family in Hotshot, Louisiana, a compound that doubles as a methamphetamine lad. She led a very sheltered life, only leaving her hometown for weekly trips to the supermarket and pet store. She eventually entered into a relationship with Jason Stackhouse, who first saw her at the compound during a drug bust. Since fraternizing outside the family was frowned upon, Crystal is engaged to her half-brother Felton, whom she has been promised to since childhood. After she ran away from the compound and informed her father, Calvin, that she would not marry Felton, she was disowned.

Fueled by V, he killed his father, Calvin, and was last seen abandoning his family and driving off with crystal, against her will, to an unknown location.

He was busted by the Bon Temps Police in a raid, and specifically taken down by Jason Stackhouse. Upon his release from a holding cell in Bon Temps, T-Dub informed Crystal’s father, Calvin, of her close ties to Renard Parish law enforcement, otherwise known as Jason Stackhouse.

Werewolf
Werewolves differ from shapeshifters in that they can only alternate between human form and wolf form. This focus then to be the strongest of all the shapeshifting species -especially after ingesting vampire blood. Highly territorial and secretive, werewolves are socially grouped into packs with strict hierarchies.
