@Jerron, I just contribute as I can (little tidbits) and sit back and read while the rest of you figure it all out. Thanks for your nod. (My dream is to reveal "the final clue" – the answer which everyone is waiting for and I become the unexpected source.)
I swear this has Keyser Soze written all over it.

Sidenote on Lafayette,[Jesus]
I was studying the screencap of when we first see the demon he becomes (I tried to post it but it wouldn't show up). I then looked up a list of demons and tried to find one that had a similar physical resemblance. The two that I found are demons called Beelzebub and Belphegor. Both of these demons are princes of Hell and are noted for manipulating and tricking people. It is for this reason that I don't think Jesus is a good guy, and may very well be tied into all this Billshit.
Thank you for doing this! [I'm scared to look up demons
] This is very interesting indeed. I am becoming more sure by the day that Jesus set Marnie up on Bill's behalf.

OfflineThe Silver Bullet -
When Bill shoots Eric with the silver bullet, we hear Eric say "Silver." Then the scene cuts to more chaos. Then there are sound effects over Sookie and Bill's scene and I immediately thought the sounds implied someone reaching into an open wound – and the next thing we see is the bullet is out of Eric. Did anyone else here that sound effect?

Hi Bella! I heard the sound too! And I wonder why Bill would shoot Eric and the sheriffs, knowing that the bullets will push themselves out. What was the point of that? I also find it interesting that you mention Eric said "Silver", because I had noticed in the Spellbound episode when Sookie is shot, having just used her powers, she also says the word 'Silver' while laying on the ground…coincidence? We also have seen several scenes now, where Bill is willfully slivering himself, along with Jessica, at first, then Nan…and in this last episode, Eric and Pam. Also the scenes always seem very distorted to me. Can it be that "Silver" is representing something that we haven't seen yet or… maybe have?

Offline@ Genie and BellaKarma…… I thought same thing about the silver. You can see eric just pulled out the bullet. If its so easy why did Bill even bother shooting them? And why did Bill just seem to have a gun ready with such good aim that these sheriffs couldnt avoid like Eric did at Sookie's in S3? Also Roy says something to M/A during this scene…. God its not right or something? Can't make it out.
Also this scene also made me think of the bullet sucking scene when Sookie jumps in front of him this time….. Foreshadowed about a reveal here I hope?

Offline@ Caitlynmarie, Maybe Bill did it to provoke them more…and I noticed he had perfect aim too, something is off again with the scene. I'm hoping for some reveals too!
I could be reaching with this one, BUT it also reminded me of the fight scene, with Tommy, Joe Lee and Melinda. Right before Joe Lee wraps the "sliver" chain around his neck, Tommy says "you left him, and you're still sticking up for him?" sound familiar… The victim sticking up and fighting for her abuser…who does this remind us of? Joe Lee trained Melinda, just like Bill wants and IS training Sookie. Tommy had the will and sense to fight back…will Sookie? Hopefully her ending won't be as tragic.
Genie, great point about Tommy/Sookie.
I think the bullets were wooden and Bill meant to kill him but missed the mark. When Eric said 'silver' it was very strange, like it was dubbed in. The other two sheriffs were shot with silver supposedly but they were able to stand up and disappear with M/A.
The same thing happened last year in FT as they were preparing to take RE to the construction site. Bill says something like 'let's go, I have a lot to do' but it sounded more like something ERIC should have said, not Bill.

Offline@ Chris it did pop out & Eric threw the silver bullet away after it popped out of him…
Now in s2 Billy already told us & Sookie that silver will push itself out.. so in s4 it actually did.. & QSA got hit with wooden bullets with silver caps or something like that from the flashback of her death scene.. Jason was the one in s3 that had a gun with wooden bullets & i think Tara had a gun with wooden bullets when she went to fangtasia this season to confront Pam…
on another note :
i would perfer Vintage Viking in s5 IMO… but i guess it depends on how much the writer's add more DAG to s5 storyline… **sigh** if Eric becomes the stalker in s5 i will be pissed because in DAAD Billy was stalking Sookie & dating Selah P & he was stalking Sookie in DAG.. Sookie was jealous of Selah & yada, yada, yada… same way Debbie is Jealous of Sookie this season…
i will stop watching if the writer's turn Eric into a creepy stalker.. especially if Sookie this season chooses Billy over Eric.. i will be DONE with TB for real…
@Chris–I think it can be looked at both ways. I can see this as being another nod to the bullet sucking scene, particularly since both bullets hit the exact same spot. On the surface, by having Eric pull the bullet out it looks like confirmation he HAD been lying to Sookie about the bullets needing to be sucked out in Dallas. Until it's spelled out the real answer, that Eric has become immune to the silver, won't hit home for the general audience. If Eric is immune then Bill certainly is as well, which has implications as to how he managed to avoid succumbing to M/A's meet the sun spell and why she can't or won't control HIM.
On the other hand, notice how Eric went in a bullet straight trajectory right at Bill. Unlike the others he didn't hurt another living soul. Now think of this: Eric could have killed Bill in less than miliseconds by ripping his head clean off. His orders were to 'kill the king, slaves'. Instead, Eric toyed with Bill, showing him who's boss and giving Bill a fighting chance by defiantly inviting him to give it his best shot. Sookie doesn't know it yet but Eric showed us he WAS fighting the spell by drawing out the 'kill'. He is VERY strong–look how Sookie's double strength electricity only knocked him back a little where a single hit sends everyone else flying, in some cases several dozen yards. Now, if Eric can fly faster than a speeding bullet then he can move his chest to avoid a wooden bullet. I believe the whole point of this exercise was to kill the spellbound patsy.
This whole thing was a long con, complete with patsy and puppet master pulling his strings; the public setting, the many cameras, the props, and extras. Bill cast himself in the role of JFK–the heroic young president gunned down in his prime–only HE, King William Compton, escaped the dastardly plot and smited the grungy loner himself. The big hero. . Only, Eric didn't play along.
GET THIS: Bill thought it was safe to rip off Eric's head. WHY? As far as Bill knew, be-spelled Eric's only orders were to kill HIM. WHY DID BILL THINK ERIC WOULD JUST KNEEL THERE WAITING FOR HIS OWN DEATH at the hands of a vampire he could kill in less than miliseconds? What did Bill think would stop Eric from fighting back? Bill had to have believed that Eric was being controlled to cooperate in his own death. Ergo, the whole thing was staged by Bill, pre-arranged with whatever entity is controlling Marnie AND Antonia. They're only USING Antonia because she is a great necromancer who can control the dead like puppets. They are using her abilities to commit genocide and murder Bill's enemies or whoever else stands in his way to ever more power.
In this narrative, we can experience both visual and auditory narrative deception. The fog is particularly thick at night when Bill holds more sway, but the good thing is Eric is SO strong we had several cracks in the wall of lies, including Bill's uncustomary public display of blood lust to kill the witch–his co-conspirator again– at ANY COST, and the clearly addicted Sookie still in delusional love with her sadistic abuser.

OfflineIDK Charm,
in LDID ( book 2) the silver could push itself out… i guess the problem with this situation is the fact that Billy was the one who said it in s2 on TB.. i mean book Sookie blamed Eric tricking her about the bullet sucking scene all the way up to book 8 ( FDTW)…
& if Eric is immune to silver then i agree with you that Billy is as well.. i mean Billy has been drinking Sookie's half fae blood since s1 & Eric ate a pure Fae..

I absolutely love this:

You absolutely amaze me with your brilliance, Sunny.
Here's hoping I did the quotes correctly.
IATM, Bill is beyond a DOUBT immune to silver. I proved it in my piece 'Smoking Mirrors'. The silver didn't injure his skin the way it did Jessica's as they were waiting for M/A's meet the sun spell. So it's very, very likely that Eric is also immune by now. However, Eric was not immune in Dallas because he'd never had a drop of Sookie's blood at that time.

@ IATM, Now that you mention silver tipped wooden bullets that could be what Bill shot Eric with. I just happen to see the shiny part so I assumed the bullet was silver.
yea Chris, because it would be weird if Billy didnt carry the same weapon & bullets that his "V" feds carry to kill QSA.. so if it was the wooden bullets with silver caps then Eric didnt get as injured as QSA because she had multiple shots comming her way.. vs. the way Jason killed FM with wooden bullets in s3.. IDK , what to think really..
Thanks Chris.
Silver tipped wooden bullets actually make the most sense. If the shooter misses the heart the bullets have still incapacitated the vamp so he CAN be staked. That's the whole point of silver bullets–they're SUPPOSED to incapacitate vampires. Otherwise they're useless, but we know they're NOT useless against vamps who are not immune to silver.

Offlinei agree Charm ( that it makes the most logical sense)..
you know though that the other two vamps that Billy shot didnt have any "Fae blood" that we know of & they survived as well.. Nan killed one of the Sheriff's with a wooden pencil.. & the other 2 Sheriff's left with M/A.. so the bullets that Billy shot everyone with didnt really harm none of them..
on another note :
i did enjoy Marcus & Debbies conversation in this epi.. & Sam & Alcide killing the wolf & the wolf was all telling Alcide that he has his wires crossed… there was some good script there & alot of DAG moments …

I'm going to come back and respond to the other awesome observations – but real quick now:
After it was mentioned here, I went back and listened to Roy in Moon Goddess (in Let's Get Out of Here) and indeed heard him say "I silvered the son-of-the-bitch and he ran from me!" I think of this as a major reveal about Bill, because I doubt that many viewers were paying attention to all the "background noise" when Marnie was talking during that scene. Roy shouted it, and I couldn't help but think it was done that way so the truth was out there, but it was up to the viewer to hear it over the lies. I "heard" Roy talking when I first watched that scene, but I wasn't "listening" to him. I've learned my lesson.
Anyways, I thought it was great Roy spoke out loud what Sunny proved.
