OfflineI posted this in the Run topic but brought is over here. All of this makes me wonder where this is all headed. What will make it all tie together? There has to be an end game point to miracles, what is is?
1. In the beginning, prayer (for a miracle?) is the only hope Bill and Alcide have.
2. Arlene and company witness a miracle with Mavis.
3. Jason mentions to Hoyt that they saw a miracle (with Mavis)
4. Last episode while in the shower, Sookie says that Eric's blood is a miracle.
5. At the FOT, Nan says facts are facts even if we don't always see them.
6. Jason asked Jessica if she would go back to being a human if she could.
6. The season was about raising the dead-resurrection. In the Christian tradition, the resurrected body is perfect.
Will Sookie's blood, now that is has been mixed with Eric's healing elixer miracle blood now be able to turn vampires human again? Was it by accident or planned? I know, pretty wild.

OfflineBumping this Thread…
Bill says to Sookie in S1 that Miracle is just another word for Magic. In this conversation Sookie was frustrated because she couldn't hear Bill's thoughts.
Season 4 was the season of the Witch, who also represents magic.
Jesus Grandfather told Laffyette he has the "Magic", his mother told him he has the "Power"
Eric in S2 said he was curious of Laffyette before giving him his blood.
Both Sookie and Laffyette were able to use their "powers" once ingesting Eric's blood. This made me think they both could be part of a BIGGER plan down the line.

OfflineI'm not sure where to put this but 'speculations' seems appropriate.
Tara & Franklin S3 ep. 5 Trouble.
On a previous thread sunny speculated that Jason's ordeal in Hotshot paralleled Sookie's abduction and subsequent torture.
In s3 ep. 5 Trouble Tara runs away from RE's mansion and is recaptured. She's tied up in Franklin's room and he is ranting at her for running away.
This made me think of the scene just after the bullet sucking scene. In the Bill's room and his pov he played the understanding gentleman and Sookie was berating herself for being so stupid to be tricked by Eric and getting some of his blood.
I recall at the time, sunny speculated that this most probably wasn't as understanding of Bill as was shown.
I'm thinking that Franklin ranting at and scaring Tara may be more the way the bedroom Bill/Sookie scene went down.
I totally agree BG. Eric was supposed to be dead, not seducing Sookie into drinking his blood. That was Bill's role for the night. Drats, foiled again!
But seriously, I'm sure it was pretty horrible. Just the way he acted in the car after the Hamby incident hints at the rage and terrorism he's capable of.

OfflineIDK Genie, I'm not seeing it.
All I know is that for a while after Eric 'silenced' Sookie we had some real narrative meat to chew on. We could SEE Eric's brain working overtime, we could SEE Bill acting a complete fool, we got to see Bill's torture boner [much as we might try to avoid it] Lorena's vulnerability, Tara's fight like a motherfucker to survive, THAT FILE. And from RE, broad wide hints at how little Sookie knows about Bill, how in the dark she really is.
