Sookie's blood is what's given Bill all his extra powers, on top of his black arts which require human sacrifice. Bill is a metaphor for parasitic corporations exploiting it's labor force and treating it like slaves. While he gets fatter and richer, Sookie whithers away to nothing, voluntarily giving him everything of herself that he wants because he's brainwashed her into doing it without complaining or stopping loving him. It's the ultimate triumph of evil over good unless he's stopped.

I don't know if it is Bill who succeeds in getting rid of Meloni's character. I tend to believe it will be Eric and his comrades who will emerge victorious. At least, I hope they let us have our satisfactions and hope.

HAHA Charm,

i mean Meloni & Russell both older Vamps cant run amok on TB for too long.. someone or both will die. & if Eric kill's one cool. but who kill's the other?? LMAO Wink

"Thank you", i said, my face pressed to his silent chest. "No", he said quietly. "You took me in off the road and kept me safe. You're ready to fight for me. i can tell this about you. i can't believe my luck. when this witch is defeated, i would bring you to my side. i will share everything i have with you. Every vampire who owes me fealty will honor you". (DTTW page 189;chapter 9)   " you were so sweet when you didnt know who you were". "Sweet"?  "Very, we gossiped like old buddies". "You were so scared and alone, and you liked to talk to me. it was fun having you around". "Fun", "i'm not fun now"? "No Eric, you are too busy being…… Yourself". "Head boss vampire, political animal, budding tycoon".  Eric shrugged . "Is myself so bad? many women seem to think not". "i'm sure they do". ( DAAD page 173; chapter 11)

I think Eric has effectively moved the action AWAY from BT, at least insofar as RE and Melon's character.

'Masters of Sex': Lizzy Caplan And Michael Sheen To Star

Masters Of Sex Michael Sheen Lizzy Caplan

Showtime has found its "Masters of Sex" in Lizzy Caplan and Michael Sheen. The two will star in the pilot based on Thomas Maier's book "Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virgina Johnson, The Couple Who Taught America How To Love."

OMG!!!

I don’t tell daddy how to f*#k …

Joe Manganiello did an interview for DAMAN.  The interview is meh.  But this one question had me crying.

DA MAN: Do you discuss things much with creator Alan Ball? And is he open to input from you or the rest of the cast?
Joe Manganiello: I don’t tell daddy how to f*#k … Alan is a genius. I trust his judgment implicitly and I give everything I have to my job, which is playing Alcide. Alan and the writers give me the situation and what I’m going to say and then I put my stink on it.

Source.

And this one made me smile.

DA MAN: What do you think the future holds for the long-running True Blood? Do you think the public will continue to have an appetite for werewolves and vampires?
Joe Manganiello: I don’t consider True Blood a part of a fad. It’s a critically acclaimed show written and performed by critically acclaimed people on the best network that’s ever existed in television. The trick to it is that it’s a show about being human … it just uses super-powered creatures to make its point. That is what has made it a cultural phenomenon and is what will allow it to run as long as it wants to … or at least until the vampires all start to noticeably age.

The actors get it…like we do.

I've noticed that there is still some sort of glitch.  The blog page is way behind in posting the 'last' poster.

From an article asking if it's time to kill off shows about the supernatural.

Trouble is, though, most tales about zombies and vampires are unmitigated cack.

Take True Blood, for example. Although I've never really been a fan, I've nevertheless tried to watch it whenever I could because other people insist that it's worthwhile. Admittedly, most of those people have been women who dress their cats up as butlers and have Tumblr sites called things like Elysian Moonquaver, and only watch True Blood because there are topless men in it and it's marginally less embarrassing than admitting to liking Twilight, but that's by the by. I stuck with it.

At least I did, until I watched this week's season four premiere, which is just gaspingly awful. Without giving too much away, there are fairies. There are glowing apples. There is Gary Cole from Office Space. There is what appears to be the set from the harrowing mid-90s pre-Millionaire Chris Tarrant dating show Man O Man. It's not so much a fall from grace as a catastrophic plummet to oblivion.

Ouch is right! That's just terrible. Clearly that writer doesn't 'get' TB. Wink

THIS IS PRICELESS

Walken's most recent big-screen splash was in last year's Cleveland-set gangster drama "Kill the Irishman." Among upcoming roles are as Zeus in the modern-day dramedy "Gods Behaving Badly," which has an all-star cast including Alicia Silverstone, Sharon Stone as Aphrodite, John Turturro as Hades and "True Blood's" Nelsan Ellis as Dionysus.

Oh that's priceless.  Nelsan Ellis as Dionysus. Laugh

He's been getting some good roles since his TB turn.

Boardwalk Empire' Adds 'Justified,' 'True Blood' Actor as Recurring Lawman

Stephen Root will recur on the HBO drama as Gaston Means, a former swindler and murder suspect who now works for the Department of Justice.

After a sophomore season that featured the death of a handful of series regulars, HBO's Boardwalk Empire is continuing to rebuild its ranks, with Stephen Root joining the drama.

The premium cable network announced Friday that Root will recur as Gaston Means, a forger, swindler and murder suspect who became a Special Investigator for the United States Department of Justice under Attorney General Harry Daugherty (Christopher McDonald). Link

Her "True Blood" stint may have come to an untimely end, but that's not stopping Jessica Tuck from staying within the supernatural genre as she's signed on for a guest starring role in NBC's "Grimm" as a Hexenbiest.

Per EW, Tuck will play Catherine, the mother of Adalind (Claire Coffee), in an upcoming episode titled “Love Sick,” set to air later this season. Link
