Sookie's Sky Faerie Clan's enemies in the books were the Water Faeries (which would include mermaids, selkies, sirens, Lorelei and the like). So far TB Sookie seems to be aligned to the same clan with the same enemy clan (Sookie's SPF-blood, and her fear of water and her parents drowning).

Eric is Fae is not a new theory, and I suspect he might be aligned with the Water Clan (but he's not an enemy of Sookie). It would make sense, for a sea-faring Viking king who smells like the ocean in winter and has a penchant for hanging out in the water (Bill's bath, Lake Skinny-Dip) would be connected to the Water Fae. So maybe Miss Mermaid is an oblique reference to Eric?

Come to think of it, is it even a Miss Mermaid? We've never seen the mermaid's face that I can recall, and its chest lack any bosomy quality. Maybe its a merdude.

Heh heh heh…I just noticed the bathroom has definitely changed over time, and oh, how significant it is. Check this shit out, this is how the bathroom usually looks in seasons 3-4 (we never see the bathroom in season 2):

But look at how it looks when Sookie 'sees' Taryn feeding on Moustache in the Ladies Room:

First off, how many toilet paper dispensers does one stall need? I think it needs a couple more. But the painting right above the john really classes up the place. But look at this:

Toilet Girl and a never seen again Shadowy Stalking Vamp are painted in the actual stall, and not outside it. The Stalking Vamp has dark hair and blue eyes (Like Bill). All the bats in the bathroom have blue eyes.

Now let's take a look at the only other shot of the Fangtasia bathroom in season 1, Sookie is washing Longshadow out of her hair:

Toilet Girl and an even more Shadowy Stalking Vamp (you can't even see his face anymore) are in a new location, somehow right by Sookie's face (though that's were the seafoam green stalls are, and the paintings were in an actual stall when Sookie saw Moustache's thoughts). Shadowy Stalking Vamp is casting a shadow, which is a peculiar detail.

When Sookie looks into the mirror, there's a never-seen-again Kewpie Doll Vampire:

When Pam comes in, the Kewpie Doll is gone, and there's now a mirror behind Sookie, with Dracula and Pink Nightgown above it (rather than in front of the stalls where they normally are):

There's also a hooded female figure, it's not quite Little Red Riding Hood, the hood is black with a red lining, she's dressed in black, there's no basket, and there are black streaks down her face (though not runny, as blears or mascara would be, but smooth black streaks). Jess and Alcide aren't on the scene yet, which is why there's no Little Red Riding Hood with a wolf inna basket.

There's also a big wall sconce in between the mirrors, which would not be there in the future.

When Ginger comes in, we see the mermaid/merdude for the first time, and its the only figure that has always remained in the same location, everyone else has either moved around or not been there at some point. Which means the crew/art department has to keep painting and repainting the same figures, which they wouldn't do 'by accident'.

The next time we see Toilet Girl (in season 4) her vamp stalker will have completely transformed into a bat:

(Stalker Vamp only ever appears to Sookie, first in her 'seeing' Moustache's thoughts, and then again over her shoulder while she's alone in the bathroom cleaning Longshadow off her)

(Also, take note of the graffiti on the stall, its a little heart with SSS + SS on it…hmmm, does Sookie have a middle name? Like Sunny or Solara or Synnove or Samson? Sookie Sunny Stackhouse + SS..officer, as in Eric? Either that, or a snake somewhere has a crush and needs to tell the world about it.)

I'm pretty sure Toilet Girl is supposed to be Sookie (with the stalking vamp and all). I'm thinking Alice is Pam, not only because of the book reference, but because the 'smoke lines' echo the black veins that would appear on Pam in S4 (and her cigarette is no where near her hands or mouth):

And Toilet Girl and Alice have the same dress on, which is similar to Cindy Marshall's uniform. Connecting all three as victims of Bill, mayhaps?

There are also these weird figures above the mirrors, one looks like a doll in a blue dress maybe? but the other I have no idea. It looks like the Flying Spaghetti Monster TBH. Maybe its a really jacked-up sheep (for Bo Peep):

So, in conclusion, I believe

Dracula/Bats = Bill/Bill's mirrors or minions

Kewpie Doll Vamp = What Bill wants Sookie to think of him as (harmless)

Shadowy Stalking Vamp = What Bill actually is (predator)

Pink Nightgown Girl (Drac's victim) =Lorena/Gran/Tara?/womenfolk in general

Toilet Girl = Sookie

Alice = Pam

Little Red Riding Hood = Jess

Wolf Inna Basket = Alcide (vamp-controlled werewolf)

Mermaid/Merdude = Eric?

Weird Figures Above The Mirrors = ???

There's a wereseal in the Mabinogion, Dylan ail Dôn leaps into the water and becomes a selkie.

http://cymru.wikia.com/wiki/Wereseals

He is the son of Arianrhod by magical means and has a brother called Lleu Llaw Gyffes. As soon as Dylan comes in contact with his baptismal waters, he plunges into the sea and takes on characteristics of a sea creature, moving through the seawater as perfectly as any fish:

'So they had the boy baptised, and as they baptised him he plunged into the sea. And immediately when he was in the sea, he took its nature, and swam as well as the best fish that was therein. And for that reason was he called Dylan, the son of the Wave.'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D…..an_ail_Don

Dylan means son of the Wave?

That's weird, because Claudine and Claude's father was named Dillon, which is a variant of that. Which is odd, considering he was the Sky Prince's son, that he be named a water-based name. Claude made a point of telling Sookie the meaning of Faery names, like than Colman meant dove. But he didn't say what his father's name meant. Sookie asked Dillon himself, and he said (with a smirk) 'Lightning'. Looking around at the baby name sights, almost all have Dylan/Dillon name meaning something water-related (one, which gives a different origin than the others, has it as lightning). Niall also didn't like Dillon too much, and wasn't happy in his marriage to his mother Branna, which sounds suspiciously similar to Breandon, the leader of the water fairies and Niall's nephew. A little bit of searching reveals Branna and Breandon have the same basic origin in the language, they both derive from 'Bran' or raven and are variants of Brandon (meaning 'prince'), and Branna can also mean 'Little drop of water'. I suspect Branna was Breandon's sister, and her marriage to Niall was an attempt to keep their families at peace. There was not mention of hostility between Niall and Rogan (Breandon's father and Niall's brother), and fairies have no problem marrying close relatives, so Rogan might have arranged a marriage between his daughter and his brother. Dillon is described as having sharp pointy teeth (like Lochlan and Neave) and being a little creepy. And Niall made a point of telling Sookie "We like being out in the sun and sky" in front of Dillon (emphasis was his), implying maybe Dillon isn't wholly from Sky Clan. Sooo…were Claude and Claudine both water and sky faeries?

Niall did say that Sookie was his only living relative. And although she's mostly human, she's also his only descendent that has no potential water fairy in them, she's only human and sky.

I'm in the wrong thread again.

So does Dylan, according to the baby name sites. Or at least something water related (like 'sea-faring' and stuff like that).

ETA: Don means 'world rule' apparently. It's added to a lot of other word to denote royalty/ruler. Like with Brandon, it would literally mean 'Raven King'.

Ah – 'don' with two meanings  = Celtic language schism.  Welsh is part of the Brythonic branch of the Celtic languages (along with Breton and Cornish).  Same basic grammar as Gaelic (Scots, Irish , Manx)  but with different vocabularies.

Well thank you. I was just really good at puzzles as a child, and TB is like one big puzzle. I can't always say what something means (y'all do a pretty good job of that here and at TBU), but I can spot when some shit just ain't right.

Off-topic, but when I was watching Escape From Dragon House again, I noticed that when Sookie approached and was talking to Eric, she became noticeably flushed, her lips were pinker, her blush more evident, her chest was flushed. Like she was excited/aroused (which we all pretty much figured anyway, not only because the way she couldn't look away from him, but because who the hell wouldn't be having that tall drink of mead checking you out). It was subtle, but definitely there, and kind of hilarious.

But it did make me consider the possibility of Bill 'sending' her the image of Taryn feeding on Moustache (or glamoured a nearby human into thinking it really hard), in order to get them out of there. With Bill's habit of getting human details wrong, those excessive toilet paper dispensers in the Moustache vision are suspicious. He might have considered their mutual sexual attraction more of a threat than Eric knowing about her telepathy. After all, he can always hide Sookie behind Sophie-Anne's skirts if he wants her telepathy, but his control over Sookie is not so absolute that he could stop her from turning her romantic intentions towards Eric.

And then that made me wonder if maybe while Sookie was getting gussied-up to go out, if Bill didn't make a little call to the Shreveport police that there was some vampire-shenanigans going on at that vampire bar tonight. Because he didn't want Sookie to go there (but she was determined to go), not only because he didn't want her around Eric, but because he didn't want her sniffing around the fangbanger murders too hard (being responsible for them and all). He doesn't want Eric or Pam to reveal anything about his shady past and shadier present. And he didn't want her to alert Eric to the murder situation, because he really doesn't want pique Eric's interest in his shenanigans either. But he can't exactly forbid Sookie from going, so he makes the situation work to his best advantage. He makes the other vamps seem scary, he wears Sookie on his arm like jewelry, rubbing Eric's nose in it, and makes trouble for Eric with the Shreveport police. He manipulated the situation to his advantage.

I assumed this was the case. Anything that conveniently happens while something else is happening that Bill doesn't like, I take as sign he MIHOP'ED* that vampire mess again.

*Made it happen on purpose. I choose MIHOP here as opposed to LIHOP—LET it happen on purpose–because it would take planning and forethought to accomplish. Anything Bill 'let's happen' could also be assumed to have received a helpful assist from him. For the record, I believe the Rattrays were MIHOP.

Jesus and I agreed to see other people, but that don't mean we don't still talk from time to time.

Naturally. I'm always surprised when people think he didn't coerce the Rattrays into at least attacking Sookie that second night, that he just saw them either beating her or stalking her and let it continue (as if that's really any better). Anyone who can watch someone walk into a trap and get beat is more than capable of setting that trap in the first place. I personally believe, like you, that the Rattrays were set up from the start, that the initial draining was all a ruse to lure Sookie to his side, and set up the second night. Hell, he may have even hoped for Sookie to be injured that night. I mean, what vampire wouldn't hunt down two drainers that attacked him as soon as he's better? He was fine that second night, and there was more than enough time to take care of the Rattrays before meeting Sookie at the end of the night.

we discussed somewhere, I don't know where but we talked about the clues that lead us to believe Bill had been in Merlott's before.  I think one of the clues was the fact that "Bill was here" and also Dawn lost time.  I always think about the fact that he had 35 years human time to set up his plans.  But for him 35 years was nothing.

In my timeline I pointed out that Sookie had been shown in her night three dress, Bill comes a callin' dress, more than a month before TB night three occurred.  Stay with me here…

Remember the opening scene to the series?  The college kids are in the Grab-it-Qwik looking to buy V from the clerk they thought was a vampire.  The clerk is watching Nan being interviewed by Bill Maher in her pink business suit.

Friday, July 11, 2008

Interview with Nan Flanagan Video-Claims organization was not up and running when Great Revelation announced.  Nan Flanagan wearing pink suit for interview.

Sookie's picture shown as she was dressed the night Bill came to call. Bon Temps secrets post – Although many things about my interview with Lafayette the other day stuck with me, one of them especially did. He said something about people in this town having secrets that would make vampires blush. Now, I have lived here all my life and never caught wind of anyone doing anything more unusual than the usual small-town hijinks. So for the last couple of days I’ve been asking around to the people I see in town about whether they have ever noticed something strange about anyone living in Bon Temps. More than a couple of times, the name “Sookie Stackhouse” came up. I know of Sookie – it’s hard not to know someone in a town this size – but I have just seen her in passing and never really talked to her. I don’t think she’s a vampire or anything, though. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen her at the store in the daytime. As far as I know, she’s just a cute girl who works at Merlottes.  Who knows? Probably it’s just idle small-town gossip.

Vampire attack in Bon Temps(?)  Man claims he saw a vampire gang outside of his camper trying to get in and broke his gnome

In Focus on Fangophiles post – sexual benefits of being a "Fangbanger" interview

Fangbanging post – Announcement of the new term

More from the In Focus piece post - Interviews of patrons at Sam Merlotte's bar Sam say he has to serve everybody, even vampires…for now.

Vampire primer post – vampire abilities and disabilities expressed graphically by an artist

From this we can place night three.  On this night Bill and Sookie took a walk over to Bill's house.  It was discussed elsewhere that there were lookeys in that there cemetery.  We were shown:

Bill @ Stackhouses'

Sookie asks Bill to glamour her (No glamour music)

Sookie's falshback (Color red, No 9)

Sookie tells Bill he can't own home till Vampire Rights Amendment passes

Sook offers Bill neck, Bill smells sunlight- kiss

Tuesday, July 29, 2008 – Bloodcopy.com

Interview with Sam Merlotte post – business is business is all her cares, he bought a six pact of TruBlood right after the Great Relevation but it went bad, no vampire in Bon Temps to drink it.  Said he would serve to a rooster for all he cares as long as they got cash.  'crystal Says' has joined in the posters

Thor's Day, July 31, 2008

Fangtasia owner Eric spotted post – Hey Roger & Andrew – I’m just now getting home from the Fangtasia opening party where I’ve been partying with human and vampire alike since they opened at 10 last night. I’m feeling pretty enchanted by it all still. The place was packed full of people. Oh and most of the vampires there were just ethereally beautiful. I got to meet Pam, who you talked about before on your blog, and also the other owner Eric. He’s just amazing and awe-inspiring and beautiful and totally unobtainable. I was far too tongue-tied to try to make conversation with him but I sat and admired him from afar all night long. He sat in his chair like a mysterious deity and his eyes fairly dared anyone to approach him. The air around him almost seemed to crackle with electricity. Well, I know he sure made my hair stand on end, at least! Anyway, keep up the good work and here’s a pic of Eric I snapped with my cell. That’s as close as I dared to get and as far away as I could stand to be from him. Comments of Note:  Cindy Says: If all vamps are as hot as him i am sooo there;  SexyBrunetteLA Says:  Again – no politics involved – I want to hit that – so bad!!! He looks like a good F@#$  endlessdeep Says: Eric is totally hot. I want to run my fingers through his hair. Ha!  I heard somewhere that you could take a “digital” photograph of a vampire. Very cool.

Interview with Sookie Stackhouse post -  Sookie thinks a vampire showing up in Bob Temps would be a nice change of pace .  The interviewer asks Sookie if she can read people's thoughts and she asks Andrew if he believes every thing he hears, then proceeds to read Andrew's thoughts

Bon Temps still skeptical post – Maxine & Tara Thornton Interview video:  MUST WATCH!!!  We took a camera around Bon Temps again and asked some more of our neighbors their views on vampires – that is, when we could get them to stop gossiping, er, speculating about who is moving into the old Compton place. Small time life is so exciting sometimes.

In this video Tara tells us that vampires come into Super-Save-a-Bunch last night.  And the town is speculating on who is moving into Bill's house.

Sunday, September 7, 2008 – Bloodcopy. com

Bill's Merlotte's interview-Bon Temps first vampire speaks! Post – BloodCopy scored this exclusive and quite frankly scary interview with Bon Temps first genuine vampire. We caught up with “Bill” at Merlotte’s bar, which seems to be a hub of activity more and more these days. I would have thought that actually meeting a vampire wouldn’t be such a big deal after following the saga from the very beginning but I was dead wrong. I was stumbling all over myself and wondering why the heck I thought this was such a great idea. Anyway here he is . . . Bon Temps very first vampire, Bill Compton.
MUST WATCH!!!  Read Comments!!!

Bill would have been interviewed on Saturday, September 6, 2008.

Monday, September 8, 2008 – Bloodcopy.com

Murder in Bon Temps post – Bon Temps residents were shocked this weekend to find out that one of their own had been murdered. Convenience store worker Maudette Pickens, 26, was found dead in her apartment under what are being called “highly unusual” circumstances. Some are even wondering if the work of a vampire is at play. We found Sheriff Dearborne with the video camera last night and asked him if he could give us a little insight into the crime.  Bud says that the police were lead into Maudette's apartment by the building manager after her boss at Grabit Qwik reported she didn't show up for work.

On TB Sam was wearing his Merlotte's T-shirt, cluing us in that there is timeline fuckery.  When did the Rattrays attack Bill, represented as Night 1 and Sookie' attack as Night 2?

Laugh Jerron.

I think Sookie met Bill, "saved him" and ran the Ratts off on the first night we were shown, the night the college kids went to the Grab-it-Kwik.  Sookie was "attacked by the Ratts" prior to when she was shown on Bloodcopy.com in her night 3 dress and Merlotte's was glamoured the night of his interview to confuse the order of the events.  Bill looks directly into the interviewers' camera during his Merlotte's interview.  The first break of the wall.

Sookie knew the term "fangbanger" when she, Jason and Gran had breakfast.  If she kept up with the news about town enough, she would have heard of Eric and Fangtasia.  According to the Bloodcopy post, this was big news.  I suspect that SexyBrunetteLA was Dawn.  Think she would have not said a word about her trip to Fangtasia?  And the hot blonde vampire she met?

Sookie walked into Fangtasia knowing exactly who Eric was and what his reputation was.

Thank you, osterby! Veeeery interesting.

On Maudette's murder: the POV from her Liam tape and her Jason tape are not the same, which (along with the fact that Liam looks right at the camera) leads me to believe the camera was not hidden. Personally, I think someone was there holding the camera, and I think it was Bill (who was also the one who paid Maudette for letting a vampire bite her). Because really, does Liam seem like the type that would pay for blood or sex? Malcolm or Diane? Do they seem like the type of vampires anybody would willingly go with? No, not really.

But who does seem the type to be able to cajole a woman with the reputation as the town bicycle to pretty much prostitute herself, but would also enjoy debasing an 'insufferable cow' by not only getting her to turn herself into a McMeal for a little money, but then by making her fuck Liam and not him (I would love to see you get fucked by someone else, that's so hot, I am paying you, blah blah blah), while he sat in the corner and played the videotaping voyeur?

If you guessed Bill, then you just pat yourself right on the back.

I also find it interesting that the specifics of Maudette's murder are more nebulous than the others, and we also never see the actual murder scene as we do with Dawn, Gran, and Amy. Except in Rene's memory, where Maudette is strangled not with the belt, but with the rope she used to tie herself up with (not to mention she never looks away from her killer's eyes or cries out, like she's being glamoured). Which would make three different MOs with Rene, which is not how a serial killer operates (usually).
