I agree. I think it's very telling that Sookie had very little screen time in S4. In fact, I think Bill had more. He was everywhere, at every turn.
You couldn't get away from his ugly ass-face.

What I loved the most is how Michael said this:
"I think season five is gonna start paying off the promises of the first four seasons. It’s like, ok, now you know the way the world works, we’ve introduced these separate plotlines, these separate characters, and it’s really starting to come together this season in a big, big way.”

Further proof an actor should think twice about turning down a badass bloodsucker role: Directors watch vampire dramas too.
MTV News recently caught up with "Battleship" helmer Peter Berg and the film's leading man Alexander Skarsgård (whom you may know as Eric from HBO's "True Blood") at Toy Fair, and the director let it be known he's been following Alex's work on a certain sexy series.
"I was a fan of 'True Blood' [and] all the girls in the office stormed my office and demanded that we cast him," Peter said of offering the role to the Swede. Of course, with the topic of "True Blood" on the table, I had to ask Alex for any and all hints about the upcoming season, set to debut this summer.
According to the hunk, the cast is currently filming episode four of the fifth season, and if you've been following casting announcements, you know a brand-new big-bad will storm Bon Temps this season: "Law & Order: SVU" star Christopher Meloni.
"He's really, really good," Alex enthused of new co-star Chris. "And a great guy." As to whether we'll be seeing the newbie predominately shirtless, Alex would only say, "Maybe, maybe not," cheekily adding, "He's so hot."
