The last issue of The French Quarter comic book is back-ordered until February 22.  But we now have a synopsis of the plot.

This sounds like a reference to season 5! With Eric and Bill out of the way running from TA, Sookie can have some time to herself. But of course this CB could be hinting at a Lorena-connected killer? coming after her/BT residents? Maybe LeDeax is a parallel to Patrick, a BILL connected killer.

The art on this cover just struck me. These are the actual TB iterations of the characters not interpretations of them. Have they done this before? Not sure but I don't think so. I'm thinking the conclusion of this one could be very  interesting and hint broadly at where s5 might be going. There are already numerous hints that Bill is involved in the NOLA serial killer plot. Will Bill maim and kill his way out of exposure or will he be uncovered as the culprit? THAT is the question we want answered going into season 5.

And how strange is it that Tara was just in NOLA! Was she there to unwittingly give vampires Hep-D, at Bill's hypnotic suggestion? "The two of them". What does Naomi have to do with this? Lovers are always conveniently available for those who need distracting from something else.

And I'm amused by all the lines pointing to Bill. Everything leads back to Bill. Who's looking so fucking ugly on this cover its ridiculous.

 

I also can't help but notice how much Bill's Awkward Ugly Pose resembles this:

Now I think I know how to interpret the scene between Drunk RE stand-in, 'Toni' and Naomi.

Tara and Naomi were mind-controlled blood prostitutes specifically assigned to unknowingly spread Hep-D. Everything they think happened didn't happen that way. Drunk RE stand-in–with his drinking vessel of RED LIQUID— was implanted in Tara and Naomi because Russell Fucking Edgington is SOMEHOW, in SOME WAY, a stand-in, an alter-ego of Bill-fucking-Compton. How else to expain a reenactment of that scene? Tara didn't do it through spontaneous clairvoyance. Either Bill skinwalked as RE and killed Tony [what WAS Bill doing when Tony was murdered? We need to check!] and implanted his own memory, or he and RE are the same person.

Why do I suspect Bill was responsible for Tara being in NOLA? Because anyone with eyes can see that Bill has been yanking Tara's chain, thus he is the only suspect who could have implanted the 'screen memory' of Drunk RE stand-in.

This is how Russell is a 'presence' even though DOH won't be there until later.
